Dr. Awni Qasaimeh is a reliability engineering leader and researcher with more than fifteen years of industry experience across Zebra Technologies, Advanced Energy Industries, and Universal Instruments. He currently serves as Manager of Reliability Engineering at Zebra Technologies, where he leads reliability programs across multiple design centers and advances data‑driven methods for product robustness and process improvement utilizing Lean six sigma principles.
He holds a Ph.D. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from SUNY Binghamton and specializes in reliability modeling, statistical analysis, data automation and visualization, design of experiments, and AI‑enabled life prediction. His work has produced numerous publications in leading journals and IEEE conference presentations, including award‑winning research on solder joint fatigue and field‑based reliability prediction.
In parallel with his industry leadership, he serves as an Adjunct Professor at the New York Institute of Technology and served as an Industry Advisor for a multi‑university Department of Defense research initiative. Dr. Qasaimeh holds an Engineering Leadership Certificate from Cornell University and a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification from Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth College. He is a Cornell‑certified engineering leadership professional, and a Senior Member of the American Society of Quality.
