Stony Brook’s Kidney Transplantation Program is participating in the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Increasing Organ Transplant Access (IOTA) Model, an initiative designed to expand access to life-saving kidney transplants for people with end-stage renal disease. The model aims to improve care coordination, support informed patient decision-making and increase access to kidney transplants from deceased and living donors.
