About Our Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons
Stony Brook Medicine’s Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery comprises our clinical faculty of five plastic surgeons and their support staff dedicated to our mission of excellence in the care of patients requiring plastic and reconstructive surgery; the education of medical students and surgical residents in the art of plastic and reconstructive surgery; the performance of basic and translational research aimed at advancing both reconstructive and cosmetic procedures; and community service, including local health fairs and global medical missions. The division’s faculty have been recognized for their clinical excellence by selection for inclusion in the present and past editions of the Castle Connolly Guides, America’s Top Doctors, representing the top 1% of physicians in the nation; and Top Doctors: New York Metro Area. In addition, the faculty have been selected for inclusion in the Consumers’ Research Council of America Guide to America’s Top Plastic Surgeons.
