Photograph of Joseph B. Quinn, MD, FAAP Joseph B. Quinn, MD, FAAP received his undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College and his medical degree from the Larner College of Medicine at The University of Vermont. He completed his internship in pediatrics at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore and his residency at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York City. He has worked in this practice since 1985. Special interests include infectious disease, sports injuries and attention deficit disorder. Outside interests include biking, kayaking and skiing.
Photograph of Barbara J. Cusumano, MD, FAAP Barbara J. Cusumano, MD, FAAP earned her medical degree at Chicago Medical School. She completed her internship and residency in pediatrics at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. Dr. Cusumano is board certified in pediatrics. She has been with Southampton Pediatric Associates since 1987. In addition to caring for her pediatric patients, she enjoys tennis, cycling, hiking, reading and travel.
Photograph of Robert Gottlieb, MD, FAAP Robert Gottlieb, MD, FAAP affectionately called Doctor Bob, graduated New York University Medical School in 1978. Afterward, he spent the next twelve years at Bellevue Hospital completing his pediatric residency, fellowship and then resident teaching duties. Dr. Gottlieb joined Southampton Pediatric Associates in 1990 and became the third partner. He enjoys infusing humor into his patient visits. He is an avid gardener and loves completing school and camp forms.

Thelma Gaetano, MD, FAAP received her medical degree from the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio. Following her medical degree, she completed her general pediatrics residency training at the Children’s Medical Center of Dayton.

Dr. Gaetano practiced in both outpatient pediatrics and express care in Ohio for 12 years prior to joining Southampton Pediatric Associates, and continues to teach medical residents in training in her position as Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics.

"I am thrilled to move to Long Island, and look forward to providing comprehensive pediatric care to the children of our community."

Dr. Gaetano is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), as well as the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP).
