Conditions Treated

Our Virtual Immediate Care providers can help with a variety of minor health concerns, including:

Cold and Flu  Cold, cough, flu and sinus problems

Orthopedic  Minor neck, back and extremity injuries

Skin  Minor rashes, abrasions, infections, and other skin problems

Eye, ear and mouth  Sore throat, cold sore, toothache, minor earaches, pinkeye and styes. 

Stomach and digestive  Stomach flu, constipation, diarrhea, reflux

Genital or Urinary  Urinary tract infections, Yeast Infections, Birth Control, Sexually Transmitted Diseases

Pediatrics  Children 5 and older with the above conditions

Refills  Short-term refills for medication prescribed by their usual provider (no controlled substances)

Conditions Not Treated

While virtual care is a convenient option for many health concerns, certain conditions require an in-person physical examination to ensure proper diagnosis and treatment.

Severe Cold or Flu  See a doctor in-person for chest pain, shortness of breath, coughing up blood, high fever with cough, tuberculosis concerns; or if you have respiratory symptoms and have been recently hospitalized, are undergoing chemotherapy, using immune-compromising medication, or if you are immune-compromised.

Orthopedics  See a doctor in-person for broken bones or fractures, severe pain, injury with associated numbness or tingling, dislocated joints, vehicle-related injuries, falls from a height, chronic pain, or for patients on blood thinners.

Skin  See a doctor in person for deep cuts or large abrasions, bleeding, abscesses, fever with rash, or severe allergic reactions to bites.

Eye, ear and mouth  See a doctor in person for eye injuries or something stuck in eye, severe pain, vision changes, floaters or flashing lights, loss of hearing, injuries to the face, dizziness and vertigo; or if you are on chemotherapy, on immune-compromising medication, or if you are immune-compromised.

Neurologic  See a doctor in person for seizures, severe pain, any weakness or numbness, dizziness or vertigo vision changes, neck stiffness, MS-related symptoms or chronic pain.

Stomach and digestive  See a doctor in person for bleeding, severe pain, injuries, fever with pain, recent hospitalization, abdominal pain without vomiting or diarrhea, chronic pain, colitis or inflammatory bowel disease, rectal pain and hemorrhoids, or if you are on chemotherapy, on immune-compromising medication, or if you are immune-compromised.    

Genital or Urinary  See a doctor in person for pregnancy-related care, abnormal vaginal bleeding, breast complaints, genital pain or rashes, IUD concerns, kidney infection, fever, gender-affirming therapy concerns, testicular pain, genital pain or rashes, or undergoing gender-affirming therapy.

Pediatrics  See a doctor in person for patients with high fever, severe pain, difficulty breathing, unable to drink fluids, unable to console, listless or change in alertness, on chemotherapy, on immune-compromising medication, or immune-compromised.

Mental health/substance abuse  Our virtual immediate care doctors are unable to evaluate mental health, substance abuse, or to prescribe controlled substances.
