Interventional Radiology is a specialty of Radiology, which utilizes minimally invasive image-guided procedures to diagnose and treat diseases in nearly every organ system. The imaging expertise of our radiologists is leveraged to diagnose and treat patients using the least invasive techniques currently available in order to minimize risk and to improve health outcomes. Procedures can be performed under x-ray, CT or ultrasound guidance, allowing real-time imaging of the body and guiding specialized diagnosis and therapy. Your Radiologist will evaluate each case and determine which imaging is best for you.
