Our full-time Emergency Medicine Clinicians are here for you! Located within Advanced Specialty Care at Commack, this walk-in Immediate Care is open to all members of the community (adults and children, 6 months and up). All patients will have access to Stony Brook's state-of-the-art Imaging services with additional care provided by our world-class physicians and compassionate staff.

For life-threatening conditions (moderate to severe chest pain, stroke-like symptoms, shortness of breath, significant bleeding, high falls or high-speed motor vehicle crashes, etc.) patients should call 911 or go to the nearest Emergency Room or hospital.

Insurance Options and Self Pay Costs
Your insurance may cover the cost of your Advanced Immediate Care appointment. It is your responsibility to confirm that your insurance covers these services.
For accepted plans, we collect out-of-pocket charges at the time of check-in and bill your insurance for the remaining balance. If your insurance doesn’t cover the balance in full, you are billed for any remaining charges.
If your insurance plan is not accepted, the charge for a visit may be up to $140, plus any additional fees for other services provided.
