Treatments for Vascular Disease
We now offer a number of individualized treatments for vascular disease, performed in the comfort of our beautiful office.
Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA)
Radiofrequency ablation (RFA) is a minimally invasive lower extremity vein procedure used to treat chronic venous insufficiency and varicose veins by using heat to close off damaged veins, improving blood flow and reducing symptoms like pain and swelling. It is typically performed under local anesthesia with a catheter, offering faster recovery and less discomfort compared to traditional vein surgery.
VenaSeal
VenaSeal is a minimally invasive, outpatient treatment designed to provide fast, effective relief from varicose veins with minimal discomfort and downtime. Using a specialized medical adhesive, VenaSeal gently seals the affected veins, redirecting blood flow to healthier veins while the treated veins are naturally absorbed by the body over time. Guided by ultrasound and requiring only a single needle prick and local anesthetic, the procedure avoids heat, lasers and surgery, allowing most patients to return to normal activities quickly, often without the need for compression stockings.
Varithena
Varithena is a quick, minimally invasive treatment for varicose veins that uses a specialized microfoam, injected directly into the affected veins, which causes them to close. The procedure also requires no incisions or stitches, is typically completed in less than 15 minutes, and is associated with minimal discomfort. Most individuals see results after just one treatment, making Varithena an effective and convenient option for vein care.
