Our Mission

Stony Brook's Department of Urology is proud to announce the opening of our Men's Health Program, the first of its kind on Long Island. It is our mission to provide a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach to treating sexual and urinary dysfunctions unique to our male patients. Our experienced team of physicians have completed fellowships and extensive training in sexual dysfunction, infertility, and prosthetics.

Our Approach

We understand that discussing private health issues with a doctor can be uncomfortable. At the Men's Health Program, we take the time to listen carefully about all your health concerns. Once we have your history and know your goals, we'll create and individualized health plan for you.

Our team also works closely with Stony Brook physicians in other specialties to cover conditions that may manifest urologically. For example, diabetes and heart conditions can affect sexual and urological function. We offer the state-of-the-art technology and expertise to recognize and diagnose these types of conditions, and may refer you to other specialists to ensure you get the complete care you need.
