About Kristen Curran
I provide services to pediatric, adult and geriatric patients. I have worked in a variety of settings, including early intervention, school-aged (CPSE and CSE), subacute rehab, skilled nursing and acute care. I began working at Stony Brook Hospital in 2020, and I treat pediatrics and adults with a variety of speech, language and swallowing disorders. I am especially interested in performing Video Fluoroscopic Swallowing Studies (VFSS) and Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES). I am also a member of the ALS Multidisciplinary team. In my free time, I enjoy making ceramics on the pottery wheel, hiking and traveling.
