Somaiya Medical College in Mumbai, India. Following his medical degree, he completed both his residency and fellowship at NYU Winthrop Hospital in Mineola, NY.

He received his medical education at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, NY and completed his internship at St. John's Episcopal Hospital in Far Rockaway, NY. He then went on to complete his residency in general medicine at New York-Presbyterian Hospital Medical Center of Queens and his fellowship at Stony Brook University Hospital for pulmonary and critical care.
