Obstetrics and Gynecology Practice Joins Stony Brook Medicine Physician Network

STONY BROOK, NY, October 2019 – Theodore Blaszczyk, MD, FACOG and Polly Kanganis, MD, FACOG have joined Nicholas Kleopoulos, MD, FACOG to form Smithtown Women’s Health.  This practice is a part of Stony Brook Community Medical, Stony Brook Medicine’s expanding network of community practices and physicians.  Serving the community for more than 30 years, the doctors at Smithtown Women’s Health specialize in obstetric and gynecologic care for women at every stage of life.

Dr. Kanganis attended medical school at the College of Physicians and Surgeons at Columbia University and completed her residency at NewYork-Presbyterian Sloane Hospital for Women.  

“I am very excited to be joining Stony Brook Medicine,” said Dr. Blaszczyk.  “Working with the physicians and staff at Stony Brook will give me the opportunity to continue to provide the best obstetrical and gynecological care for my current patients. It will enable me to expand my practice, while providing even more individual and personal attention to each patient.”

Dr. Blaszczyk attended medical school at Northwestern University and completed his residency at Duke University Medical Center.   

All three doctors at Smithtown Women’s Health are currently accepting new patients.
