About Us

The physicians with Stony Brook Extended Care are board certified internists and provide comprehensive medical care for adult patients with acute or chronic illness. The physicians have been serving the Long Island community for over 15 years.   With a focus on prevention, we provide quality medical services in an ambulatory setting and in a timely manner.  Our mission is to improve the health of all patients.  This means returning patients to the best possible wellness outcome through evidence based treatment and a partnership to meet health goals together.  We believe that optimum health includes meaningful patient and family health and wellness education.

We have extended office hours 6 days a week for your convenience.  We offer same day appointments or pre-scheduled appointments to make it convenient for you to get the medical help you need.  We will provide you with the best medical care that you deserve and require.

Our infectious disease specialist is dedicated to the prevention, evaluation/diagnosis, treatment and management of adults 18 and up with a wide variety of infections. We offer a comprehensive range of diagnostic and therapeutic services and are committed to providing excellent outpatient infectious disease medical care in a comfortable and convenient location.
