Each of our clinical nutritionists is certified by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (https://www.cdrnet.org/) as Registered Dietitians (RDs) and the Association of Diabetes Care and Education Specialists (https://www.diabeteseducator.org/) as Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialists (CDCES).
They provide diabetes self-management education and medical nutrition therapy to patients along the entire spectrum of care both through individual sessions and group classes.
- We support patients with all types of diabetes including types 1 and 2 diabetes, gestational diabetes, post-surgical diabetes and cystic fibrosis-related diabetes.
- We recognize that so much of nutritional counseling is individual; our educational plans are tailored to each patient in order to meet their unique needs and goals for overcoming diabetes and its challenges.
