Lauri E Budnick, MD Dr. Budnick graduated from the Wright State University School of Medicine after which she completed a residency in OB/GYN at the University of Illinois in Chicago, Illinois. She completed a fellowship in Urogynecology/Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive surgery at the Albert Einstein School of Medicine and Montefiore Medical Center. She was one of the first physicians in the nation to become board certified in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. She has been providing expertise in this field as an active faculty member of the Stony Brook University School of Medicine, Department of OB/GYN since 2000. Dr. Budnick has received the "Tops Doctors" award consecutively from 2017-2019.

Andre Plair, MD Maximizing a patient's quality of life is a goal for Dr. Plair. His work starts by ensuring that patients understand the medical conditions that they are dealing with. His research interests are uterine-preserving prolapse surgery, surgical videos and surgical devices.

Eva Swoboda, MD Dr. Swoboda completed a Masters Program at Harvard University before graduating from Stony Brook School of Medicine, now renamed the Renaissance School of Medicine, in Stony Brook, New York. She then stayed to complete her ObGYN residency at Stony Brook Medicine. She was in a private practice before returning to Stony Brook Medicine to complete a fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. She is currently an Assistant Professor at the Renaissance School of Medicine, where she is the ObGyn Clerkship Director of multiple training sites for third year medical students, including the Stony Brook site. She is also a Site Director for Stony Brook University’s Physician Assistant Program in addition to being the 4th year medical student Elective Director.

Christine F. Dwyer, M.S.PAC Christine Dwyer has been a Physician Assistant since 2012. She graduated from Hofstra University’s Physician Assistant Studies Program with a Masters Degree in Physician Assistant Studies. Christine has been working in Women’s Health throughout her career and has been with Stony Brook University since 2015. Christine practices in the division of both general Gynecology and Urogynecology.

Sarah Fairchild, RPA Sarah Fairchild is a Physician Assistant. She has a family medicine background, currently working in Urogynecology. She received her Bachelor of Science with a Public Health concentration at Stony Brook University and her Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies at New York Institute of Technology. Her clinical interests include pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence and interstitial cystitis. Services provided by Sarah include: Well woman visits & Preventive Care, Contraception management, incontinence/voiding issues, pelvic floor dysfunction, post-menopausal concerns.Well woman and preventive care, HPV vaccine, hormonal birthcontrol, painful intercourse, heavy periods, pelvic pain, prolapse management, overactive bladder, interstitial cystitis, chronic UTI. |
