If an urgent need arises during office hours, simply call the office to schedule an appointment. We will make every attempt to see you the same day. If it happens when the office is closed, call the doctor on call, who can be reached at 631-468-3059. We have “walk in” hours on Saturday morning from 9 am to noon and we are open late three evenings a week (Tue, Wed, Thu) until 8 pm. Please know that many urgent healthcare needs can be handled by the practice. Office appointments can help you avoid a long and costly visit to the emergency room.
Certain medical problems, such as acute onset of severe chest pain or shortness of breath, passing out, weakness of an arm or leg, loss of feeling in parts of your body, excruciating headache, vomiting blood, etc. , are true medical emergencies and do require a call to 911 and an emergency room visit.
**Enhanced Geriatric Care:
the practice offers chronic care management for Medicare patients with multiple medical problems. RN and social work care managers on our team can help older patients navigate the health care system to obtain necessary resources to help them maintain their independence in the community.
