Michael P. Cesa, MD, FACC, FCCP, FAHA

Dr. Michael P. Cesa is a founding member of North Suffolk Cardiology. He retired from practice in August of 2015. Board certified in cardiovascular disease and nuclear cardiology, he received his medical degree from the State University of New York, Downstate Campus in Brooklyn and completed his training in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease at Kings County Hospital-Downstate Medical Center. Dr. Cesa has also served as President of the Medical Staff and Chief of Cardiology at St. Catherine’s Hospital, formerly known as St. John’s Hospital in Smithtown. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology, the American Heart Association and the American College of Chest Physicians. Dr. Cesa was also a Clinical Assistant Professor, Division of Cardiology, Stony Brook University Medical Center.
