Research, Innovation, and Surgical Technology Patents. Current research focus: advancing laparoscopic bariatric surgery techniques and outcomes; new technology in surgery and surgical training; emerging bariatric practices, surgical education and simulation; and foregut pathology. Dr. Pryor also holds patents for several surgical technologies.
Setting Performance Standards Nationally. Our research in performance measurements is being used to inform national bariatric surgery center standards.

Accredited at the highest possible level — "Comprehensive Center with Adolescent Qualifications" — by the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program (MBSAQIP).
