Dr. Peter F. Bruno is a founding member of North Suffolk Cardiology. He retired from practice in December of 2020. He is credited as being the first cardiologist to practice in the Port Jefferson/Three Village area. Dr. Bruno is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and nuclear cardiology. He was Chief of Cardiology at John T. Mather Memorial Hospital and St. Charles Hospital in Port Jefferson. Dr. Bruno also served as Clinical Assistant Professor, Division of Cardiology, Stony Brook University Hospital. He received his medical degree from the University of Padua in Padua, Italy. He completed his internship and residency and completed his fellowship in cardiology at Nassau County Medical Center in East Meadow, NY.
